The person behind the desk...
Leonie McMahon holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Mineral Chemistry) and a Diploma of Journalism. For several years she worked as a trade journalist, editor and researcher for a publishing house that services the mining industry. She then moved into project coordination in the fields of conservation and Landcare.
Throughout, she has written and edited publications tailored to suit a diverse range of audiences, in a range of professions and industries.

She has worked as a journalist on Oil & Gas Gazette and Gold Gazette magazines and as a researcher on the Register of Australian Mining, the Register of Australian Petroleum and the Register of African Gold.
